This was my grandparents shop I believe it is my grandmother Ceridwen Parsons in the photograph.Her maiden name was Lewis and was a Cwm native My father was Douglas Parsons. He died in 1996 ln Pembroke. He was. Dentist in Abergavenny from 1958 to 1982. Both retained their affection for Cwm all their lives

Cwm on the 1911 census and though I’ve ‘Google-Earthed’ the area, it’s actually all the fascinating old photos on this website that give a real sense of what it was like both socially and geographically back in the early 20th century and beyond. – Really well done,:-what a lovely legacy you’ve created!
