This is the website of one of the groups in the Gwent Heritage network of community archives.
We are newly appointed administrators for the Cwm and Waunlwyd Community Archive Group. We appreciate the work from the previous group and thanks for your continued support and help in the future.
Cwm and Waunlwyd Community Archive Group will be based in Cwm Library where archiving sessions will take place. Dates of these sessions will be confirmed on this web page. We will have a selection of maps, documents, photographs and artefacts for people to see. We are also planning events and talks from historians about the local area.
We would really appreciate if any members of the community have any old photographs, memories or interesting artefacts that we could add to the Community Archive Group. We invite you to add your photos, documents, audio or video clips to this website. We are very passionate in preserving and promoting the rich history of our village for the past, current and future people of Cwm and Waunlwyd.
